Vacation Bible School 2022
June 13-17 6:00pm-8:15pm
From a whimsical lighthouse on an enchanted island, Explorers are guided by a Lighthouse Keeper and Beacon the Puffin on an exciting quest to find five mysterious Infinity Lanterns to help light their way. Using map coordinates from the Reference Book (the Bible), children discover clues to finding each Lantern while learning how God’s light shines in the lives of familiar biblical characters in Old and New Testament stories.
At Discovery on Adventure Island VBS, your students will enjoy an interactive, energizing, Bible based good time on their quest for God’s great light. They will become Explorers and discover how God’s light shines on us and how we can reflect that light as we live each day.
After a high-energy Opening Assembly time, the Explorers make their way to the Bible Story Station. Interactive Bible lessons reveal Pathfinders to equip your Explorers for an active life with God. Your Explorers will also discover our Signal Verse (Bible memory verse), which will remain with them in their faith long after VBS.
The students will expand on what they’ve discovered by making their own art projects at the Craft Station, singing new songs at the Music Station, exploring the wonders of God’s creation at the Science Station, playing games at the Recreation Station, and enjoying tasty treats at the Snack Station. Along the way, the Explorers will hear about our mission project and as their respond to a call for action!

TeamKID

TeamKID balances high-energy activities and games with high-impact Bible lessons, scripture memorization, and life application. It is our desire that our children will not only learn biblical truths, but learn to apply them to their daily lives. During each meeting of TeamKID, children will experience missionary stories, Bible lessons, art activities, object lessons, snacks, and recreational games and activities. Come join us, so your children can grow in their love and trust for God through learning to be a better follower of Jesus!

North Castle is hidden in a frozen land. The King’s valiant Knights are on a quest in search of the King’s Armor. But the armor isn’t what they think it is.
Cokesbury’s VBS 2020, Knights of North Castle: Quest for the King’s Armor, invites children to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power by exploring how we put on the armor of God. Kids will take on the role of brave Knights and begin their quest each session by opening the King’s Book.
They’ll explore Old and New Testament stories and discover different pieces of protective armor — the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Justice, the Shoes of Peace, the Shield of Faith, and the Helmet of Salvation — at work in the lives of familiar Bible characters, and explore how that armor works in their own lives as they follow and serve God.
Help kids take up the gauntlet this summer and accept the challenge to “armor up” and be strong by remaining with God.
