I love Psalm 15. It is a Psalm of affirmation with the declaration of the psalmist in the end of verse 5, being what is affirmed. This is a Psalm of David, a man who desired to be satisfied only in God, most of the time. When David was satisfied in God only, his life was amazing and he was being taken care of by God. David issues a question to start the Psalm and then answers the question himself, declaring that a life who is satisfied only in God is the life of one who is blameless and righteous before God. This Psalm also lines up very well with Jeremiah 7. So if you have time today, read Psalm 15 and then jump over and read Jeremiah 7 which compliments it very well. Here is the structure for Psalm 15
Question: verse 1 The question begins with a declaration of Yahweh and then asks who is the one who may be satisfied in God.
Answer: verses 2-5b The answer to the question is a declaration that the one who is satisfied in God is the one who is blameless (pure, holy) and is only fearing (revering, worshipping) God.
Promise: verse 5c The promise made by David is an affirmation that the one who is satisfied in God is the one who may dwell and live with God.
